Fssai Registration
FSSAI Registration is a mandatory compliance for food businesses in India regulated by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI). It ensures that food products meet safety standards to protect public health. Small food businesses with annual turnover below ₹12 lakh must obtain FSSAI Basic Registration. The process involves submitting Form A, along with supporting documents like identity proof and business details. Once approved, a 14-digit registration number is issued, which must be displayed on food packages.
This system promotes transparency, accountability, and consumer trust in the food supply chain while reducing risks of foodborne illnesses.
